This practice talks about and focuses on basic alignment for twists. We will practice multiple twisting poses and learn ways to identify different kinds of twists in other classes. Have two blocks and an optional blanket for kneeling poses. (This practice may not be ideal for folks dealing with lumbar or SI injury.)

This gentle practice focuses on grounding, in this case meaning relaxing or resting into the lower body so that the upper body doesn’t have to grip so much. We do some low lunging and some table top, but move slowly to explore this concept in various poses. Have two thick blankets.
