The future appears as the past to become the present; yoga asks us to bring our insights from the past and hopes for the future to the present moment. This practice moves towards the arm balance eka pada galavasana (flying pigeon) through progressive prep of similar shapes. It builds with a familiar standing sequence and closes with seated forward folds.
