For those of us who struggle with these poses or who are working to improve them, it’s good to go back to a practice that helps to build the strength and stability that will help make these poses more attainable (and sustainable) over time. Vasisthasana, or side plank, is a foundational pose for many arm balances, and will help your body prepare for your goal pose. In this full-spectrum class, we’ll move through a progressive series of side planks culminating with the pose known as fallen triangle or fallen angel.
