This practice emphasizes forward folds to open the hamstrings and move towards variations of utitha hasta padangusthasana (hand to big toe pose), including the full form of vasisthasana (side plank) on the title page. It includes time to practice adho mukha vrksasana (handstand) and offers a range of variations for every practitioner. Two blocks and a strap may be helpful!
